My name is Lex. I'm a composer based in LA.

Writing music has never felt like a choice; it just felt like something I’ve always done. Something that has always felt right. And the more I've explored music, the more infinitely complex and interesting music has become.

I've learned that music offers us a direct line to the experiences of others; the ability to place us in the shoes of someone we hardly know, or who doesn't even exist. It can transport us worlds away, help us communicate and even grapple with a range of complex emotions, and immerse us deep into stories.

This is why I love music.
